How to reset the Echo Speaker using the Amazon Alexa App


Resetting Amazon Echo Speaker becomes important sometimes. Why? Well!   • Open your Alexa app ( via tablet or phone) and click on the Menu button present in the top-left corner ( the three horizontal lines). 
  • When you are directed to the Menu, find and click on the ‘Settings’ option. 
  • In case you have more than one connected Alexa device then you need to choose the one that you want to reset.  Scroll to the down to find the information about the registered device and then click on the ‘Deregister’ option.  A pop-up window will appear on your screen as ask to confirm the choice.   • Your Echo device has been reset now. You can begin with the setup process. Just press and hold the Action button present on your Echo device until the light ring changes to orange. 
  • Now, open the Alexa app again and if you want, you can re-register the device.
